I love taking pictures! Therefore I want to purchase a new slim compact digital camera that takes amazing quality pictures.
Also I would like this camera to have a quick response time when I push the button to actually take the picture. I currently have a compact, very slim digital camera, however it takes forever to take pictures. Any recommendations?

   My familys photography studio and although its not compact would highly recommend the nikon d40 or any cannon sells great compacts also.

   My mom has have nikon d60 and love it is dslr.
