What digital camera is cheap and good quality?

I want a camera that isn’t too fancy. One that is good for taking personal photos for myspace. I was looking at the Canon PowerShot A720-IS at Wal-Mart but they were all out of them.

Is it worth paying $200 for a digital camera to take photos and video or will a $100-$150 camera do just as good?

      The camera manufacturers whos been making cameras for hot market to make quick buck the camera they are side products made for years thats tough one is good quality lies in stock its decent ps for the buck stay away from casios panasonics.
      For years thats canon nikon olympus pentax just about it again a720 in 200 range lem.
